Grand Reserve 2019

Opened this for a birthday toast and the mousse was so fine it felt like drinking silk, with that lovely 2019 vintage roundness coming through beautifully. It's a proper celebration bottle that still felt special even after the bubbles settled.

The blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier gives it a real depth that lingers nicely on the palate. Served it chilled on a quiet Tuesday and it felt far more special than the price suggests.

I cracked this open for a birthday and the fine bubbles just kept rolling, silky and persistent through the whole glass. You can really taste the depth from that 2019 vintage, especially the Pinot Noir backbone giving it a lovely round finish.
