An exceptional vintage sparkling wine, Chapel Down Grand Reserve 2019 is a blend of the three great sparkling wine grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The wine is made from the best fraction of juice and is aged for up to five years in bottle before release. Complex aromas of ripe apples, red berries and toasted brioche are complimented by a rich palate and generous finish. 

Holding everything together is a freshness and crisp acidity coming from the cooler 2019 harvest in England, and it's this balance between freshness and complexity that makes this wine absolutely delicious. 

Grand Reserve 2019 is great as an aperitif or an ideal accompaniment to mushroom risotto.

I cracked this open for a birthday and the fine bubbles just kept rolling, silky and persistent through the whole glass. You can really taste the depth from that 2019 vintage, especially the Pinot Noir backbone giving it a lovely round finish.
