Ett utmärkt första steg in i världen av kvalitetsengelskt stilla vin. Flint Dry är en blandning av främst Chardonnay, Bacchus och Pinot Blanc. Detta mycket aromatiska vita vin har intensiva dofter av grönt äpple, päron och citrus tillsammans med en krispig syra och en lång, uppfriskande eftersmak.
Flint Dry 2024 passar perfekt till kyckling, skaldjur och sallader.
That green apple note really comes through on the nose, and the pear follows on the palate — it's crisp and refreshing without being sharp. We finished the bottle way faster than planned with a simple roast chicken, and I've already ordered another case.
Opened it for Sunday lunch and the whole table went quiet for a second – that's how you know it's good. The Bacchus gives it this lovely floral lift on the finish that I wasn't expecting from a still white. Perfect with a bit of fish and chips, honestly.
The green apple and pear aromas hit you the moment the glass is poured, and the Bacchus shines through with that classic English crispness. I've served it to two dinner parties now and it's been the most-emptied bottle both times.
