Grand Reserve 2018 Magnum

Cracked this open for our anniversary and the magnum format made it feel like a proper event — pouring for six without reaching for a second bottle. The bubbles held their fizz through the whole toast, which says a lot for a 2018.

That magnum is a showstopper — two bottles' worth in one bottle means the toasts just kept coming without me running to the fridge mid-party. The bubbles were crisp and lively right to the last glass, and it made the whole evening feel properly special.

The cork came out with a satisfying pop and the bubbles were beautifully fine for a magnum — having the equivalent of two bottles meant the toast kept flowing all night. Everyone at the dinner kept asking what we were drinking, and emptying it felt like a genuine occasion.
