Opened the bottle for a Sunday roast and that gooseberry nose hit me straight away. It’s crisp and light enough to keep sipping, but still feels like a proper English still wine. Already ordered another case.

It’s been my go-to white for casual dinners lately—crisp enough to cut through rich food but still so easy to sip. The gooseberry note is definitely there on the nose, and it finishes clean without any sharp edge. For the price, this case feels like a steal.

That gooseberry aroma really jumps out of the glass, and it’s just as crisp on the palate as promised. I’ve already gone through two bottles this week and it’s easily the best white I’ve picked up in a while.
