Around the World in 80 Days

The globe-trotting premise sounds gimmicky, but the way the troupe blends live music with quick-fire scene changes genuinely keeps the energy up for the whole runtime. I left the theatre feeling like I'd been on a whirlwind trip myself, and the Jules Verne fans in our group were impressed too.

The actor-musicians absolutely nail the pacing—one minute we’re in a telegraph office, the next we’re swaying on a boat, and the live music keeps everything buzzing. My kids were glued to their seats the whole 80 minutes, which never happens.

I've never seen a show that moves this fast — the way the cast swaps instruments mid-scene while racing through the continents is pure chaos in the best way. The Jules Verne inspiration really shines through, and I was grinning the entire 80 days.
